The starting point of this itinerary is the Gasthaus Zum Heiligen Wasser.

At first, the road is uphill and then follow to the right into the forest. Now it is time for a short stretch of steep uphill dirt road and then again a paved road. Surrounded by meadows and forests, there is a small country house. Here the road turns into a forest and meadow.

I this continuous wandering, finally turn right into the woods and go uphill. You can reach the first Alpengasthaus at about 1,126 meters above sea level.

Following the path, you go further up. Along the way there is another stop. Soon after, you will reach the low saddle. Henceforth, it is flat or even downhill.

You walk through meadows and forests and an idyllic alpine landscape with a magnificent view. Finally, we arrive at the refuge Kühberger: still an opportunity to taste the local specialties.

Now we follow the road to return to the starting point.
