Landscapes to be framed
The Vanoise National Park offers an intact ecosystem with extraordinary landscapes to be photographed! The territory includes 107 peaks, many of which over 3000 meters, with their glaciers. These imposing massifs are surrounded by natural beauty: gorges, alpine lakes, well-groomed grassy slopes and gorgeous footpaths, in an area stretching from 1300 to 3552 meters. Almost 350 km of paths will lead you trough this wilderness where alpine flora is amazingly varied: there are about 2000 different species of plants such as rhododendron, alpine star and azalea.
Take advantage of the clear autumn days and the colors of nature, to capture these landscapes in your shots, and do not miss wonderful sunrise and red sunsets among the summits.
Wild animals to “shoot”
The Vanoise National Park is nowadays a natural habitat for ibex: there are at least 2500 species! The park was created in the mid-twentieth century to protect this species that was disappearing from the Western Alps. The wildlife of the park is naturally very rich and varied: chamois, marmots, ermellines, cedar cocks, and even eagles and lynxes find a protected area to live in these territories. If you are a wildlife enthusiast, this is definitely a place not to be missed: with some attention you can take beautiful shots!
