We’ve thought about the contest Adopt<\/strong> a Tourist<\/strong> to create new journeys, based on sharing<\/strong>, hospitality and exchange<\/strong> of places and stories. And it is precisely what happened to Davide, Roberto and Maddalena, through their adventure by bike to discover a hidden Parma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Davide, tour guide and creator of Bike Food Stories<\/strong><\/a>, has entered the competition, offering a bike<\/strong> ride<\/strong>, guided and free<\/strong>, to discover Parma, through its flavors<\/strong>\u00a0and its streets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Roberto and Maddalena, and their 1 year old\u00a0Sebastiano, enjoy traveling in their motor home<\/strong> named Ermanno and tell their adventures in their beautiful blog<\/a> and they couldn’t \u00a0miss the\u00a0opportunity to add a different experience<\/strong> to their long list, and so they were adopted\u00a0by David.<\/p>\n

On June 2, Roberto, Maddalena\u00a0and Sebastiano arrived from Bologna to Parma, where Davide welcomed them to the “Cicletteria<\/em>” (bicycle parking), they have taken the bikes borrowed from the collection of Davide and left for a 24-km<\/strong> route<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In Parma, one of the capitals of Italian<\/strong> gastronomy<\/strong>, the first destination\u00a0could only be one: a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory<\/strong>, to discover the process\u00a0of this very fine cheese, the checks to which it is subjected, its history. They were able to follow the work of the master<\/strong> cheesemakers<\/strong> who, through touch and taste, supervise the various stages of the process. After a memorable tasting<\/strong> of Parmigiano 24 months, the three adventurers have returned to the city to reach\u00a0the municipal community gardens<\/strong>, a perfect place for a picnic lunch with Parma citizens. The bike tour is finished in the streets of the center, in the shadow of the Duomo<\/strong> and Baptistery<\/strong>, in the Ducal<\/strong> Park<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
