Italy<\/strong>\u00a0is so many things, and it is also a crowd of people who believe in a better future, more just and clean<\/strong> for the future generations. And this Italy fight for it, arriving there where the institutions still aren’t. So, despite the few incentives for the installation of photovoltaic<\/strong>, Italy is first in the world for the use of solar<\/strong> energy<\/strong>, according to the International Energy Agency report of 2015.
\nGrowth last year was less than other countries, but thanks to the efforts of all these years, now the photovoltaic covers 8%<\/strong> of the entire energy needs<\/strong> of the peninsula.<\/p>\n

It is a result achieved also thanks to some of the eco-sustainable accommodations<\/strong>\u00a0present in the Ecobnb network that have chosen to invest in photovoltaic, such as\u00a0Ecovillage Torri Superiori<\/em>\u00a0in Liguria,\u00a0Borgata Sagna Rotonda<\/a> in Piedmont, the house Il Girasole<\/a> in the Marche, the B&B Il Giardino di Valentina<\/a> in Sardinia, the Hostel We_Bologn<\/a>a in the capital of Emilia Romagna and many others. But also of those who, not having the possibility to install the PV, opted for the purchase of energy from suppliers<\/strong> that sell 1100% renewable energy, often powered by\u00a0photovoltaic.<\/p>\n

Worldwide there has been a productivity growth in 2015 of 50 GW which has thus resulted in an overall capacity<\/strong> of about 227<\/strong> GW<\/strong>. China and Japan are the countries that have grown more in the\u00a0last 12 months\u00a0but at present China only covers the 1% of its needs with solar energy, far away from the podium throughout Europe: Italy, Greece (7.4%) and Germany (7.1%).<\/p>\n
