It thus appeals to the global artistic community, underlining the urgency of a return to the imagination that only artists are able to recreate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new look for art makes data more accessible to non-scientists, and directly conveys the <a href=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/2021\/04\/places-disappear-global-warming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>status of the crisis<\/strong><\/a>. HighWaterLine, 2007<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"HighWaterLine\" width=\"1170\" height=\"878\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E6hhIFApDgc?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/ecobnb.com\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This public art project was realised by <strong>Eva Mosher<\/strong>, an American environmental artist. Thanks to satellite images, topographic maps, and other tools, she drew a <strong>blue line<\/strong> <strong>between Manhattan and Brooklyn<\/strong> to indicate the areas that would be flooded in the years ahead due to climate change. This project was interesting also for the involvement of the population during its implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>3. In this case, he imagines that a McDonald&#8217;s is slowly flooded by water due to an intense thunderstorm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>4. Cement Eclipses, 2011<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cement Eclipses - M\u00e1laga, Septiembre 2012\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/54238307?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The special feature of <strong>Isaac Cordal<\/strong>, a Galician artist, is the <strong>Miniature Street Art<\/strong>. His art is expressed through small concrete miniatures that can appear here and there in various unusual places of the city. <strong>Cement Eclipses<\/strong> is a collection of photos that take their installations in order to be told and remembered since the author knows very well that his creations will be at the mercy of time and people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through his miniature street art, Cordal wants to reflect on the <strong>behavior of the masses<\/strong>, on the <strong>too hectic life of the city,<\/strong> and especially on the dequalified <strong>relationship between man and nature<\/strong>. Figurines near the drains or immersed in the water of the puddles translate a deep sense of solitude; the man in miniature becomes an object and an inanimate urban object that blends into the other elements of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>6. Includes <strong>12 pieces of ice<\/strong> extracted in Greenland arranged in a circle outside the square of the <strong>Panth\u00e9on<\/strong>. Installation defined as &#8220;beautiful and disturbing&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>7. Melt<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MELT by DM Witman\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/135559911?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deanna Witman<\/strong> is the author of this work. It is a collection of satellite images of icy landscapes taken for <strong>15 years<\/strong> and then printed on salt paper so that the work itself would also disappear if exposed to sunlight. Deanna Witman herself is also the author of the <em>Guide to Loss and Pain in the Anthropocene<\/em>, which deals with climate change and the personal and community impacts associated with &#8220;ecological pain&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>8. The lines, ordered chronologically, represent the anomalies of the annual average temperature. It is a scarf that illustrates the annual temperature of the last four centuries. The work bears the name <strong><em>Climate Scarf<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>9. Two giant sculpted hands hold the <em>Ca&#8217; Sagredo Palace in Venice<\/em>. They represent the support able to sustain one of the most historic buildings in the beautiful city, among the most threatened by climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>10. It is a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/2018\/04\/venice-mural-climate-change\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mural<\/a><\/strong> made along the banks of the <em>Grand Canal in Fondamenta Santa Lucia<\/em>.
