Here, among cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, geese, and barn owls, Agata, Pietro, and his children Agostino and Stefano welcome those who wish to experience an authentic stay i<\/strong>n harmony with the land. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This 18th-century masseria<\/em> (a typical Apulia farmhouse), once inhabited by sharecroppers and farmers, has been meticulously restored following the principles of bio-architecture and feng shui<\/a><\/strong>. Surrounded by 210 hectares of organic olive groves, cherry orchards, almond trees, and vineyards, Lama di Luna is a sanctuary of sustainability where every choice, from energy self-sufficiency <\/strong>to natural furnishings, is designed to respect and enhance the environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What sparked your passion for environmental sustainability?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The spark? Definitely a severe allergy to pesticides that sent me to the hospital, opening the door to awareness and understanding of environmental vulnerability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What aspects do you consider fundamental in your path to eco-sustainability?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Certainly, eco-sustainability<\/strong> must become a daily norm in every action, every life choice<\/strong>, and every project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How would you describe your ideal “eco-traveler” guest?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The ideal guest is someone to whom you don\u2019t have to explain anything and who appreciates every choice aligned with this way of life, even at the cost of sacrificing some comforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s debunk the myth that eco-sustainability is necessarily more expensive. In your opinion, can “Ecological” also be “Economical”?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

More expensive, definitely not, but at the same price, you have to accept fewer comforts, and that is difficult to explain to those who are not sensitive to eco-sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which green initiatives have given you the greatest satisfaction? Which have been most appreciated by your guests?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Being completely self-sufficient with electricity thanks to approximately 500 photovoltaic panels<\/strong>, 200 kW of power, and 250,000 kWh produced annually<\/strong>, the chlorine-free pool, but above all, the use of olives: their product, extra virgin olive oil<\/strong>, and their by-products, wood and olive pits, used through a dedicated boiler for heating and hot water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
