Far from the big infrastructures and the frenetic tourism, Alpe Rebelle<\/strong> <\/a>is an oasis<\/strong> of authenticity in the wonderful<\/strong> Valpelline<\/strong>, in the Aosta<\/strong> Valley<\/strong>. It is a kind of “pirate<\/strong> island<\/strong>“, as the writer Paolo<\/strong> Cognetti<\/strong> calls it, a place where time slows down and the mountain reveals itself in all its beauty<\/strong>, with respect<\/strong>, love<\/strong> and sustainability<\/strong>. Here, Ilenia<\/strong> and Daniele<\/strong> have given life to a dream: that of a genuine and conscious welcome, where nature<\/strong>, tradition<\/strong> and innovation<\/strong> coexist in perfect balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A past between shelters and a sustainable future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For over ten years, Ilenia and Daniele have been the custodians and managers of the Refuge Cr\u00eate S\u00e8che<\/strong>, at 2410 metres altitude. After having lived many summers up there, they decided to bring the magic of the shelters a little further down the river, in the old house of Daniele\u2019s grandfather. This is how Alpe<\/strong> Rebelle<\/strong> was born, a place that preserves the intimate and warm atmosphere of alpine refuges, offering guests a family and authentic welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"The<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Ilenia, with years of skiing<\/strong> experience and a ski teacher in Valtournenche<\/strong>, has managed to combine his passion for the mountains with his organizational skills, managing also local restaurants<\/strong> despite the young age. Today he dedicates his time not only to work and his passions, but also to family and life in the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniele, a great fan of alpine sports – from hiking<\/strong> to mountaineering<\/strong>, through ski touring and climbing – boasts a sporting career of all respect, including participation in the national team of tobogganing<\/strong>, with a European title and a world silver. Deeply connected to Bionaz, the birthplace of his mother, Daniele has made his passion for the mountains a mission: promoting sustainable<\/strong> tourism<\/strong> in the Valpelline region, becoming co-founder and president of the NaturaValp<\/strong> association since 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An environment-friendly welcome<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alpe Rebelle is much more than a simple mountain restaurant and bed & breakfast: it is a virtuous example of sustainable<\/strong> hospitality<\/strong>. The renovation of the old family home was carried out following ecological<\/strong> criteria<\/strong> and adopting innovative solutions to minimize the environmental<\/strong> impact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Energy saving and thermal insulation of the building<\/li>
  2. Geothermal heating plant<\/li>
  3. Controlled ventilation<\/li>
  4. Installation of solar panels<\/li>
  5. Rainwater recovery for irrigation<\/li>
  6. Natural lime-based plaster<\/li>
  7. Recovery and reuse of local timber<\/li>
  8. Internet via cable, to avoid magnetic waves <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Every detail has been carefully thought to respect the surrounding environment and enhance the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
