What Sparked Your Passion for Environmental Sustainability?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It all began when I faced the decision to renovate my grandparents\u2019 house<\/strong>. I could either build a new, energy-efficient structure with low environmental impact or restore the original, less energy-efficient building. I chose sustainability. I wanted to transform a home rich in emotional value into a space that fully respects the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One essential realization was that tourism, if poorly managed, can significantly impact the environment<\/a>. Beyond improving the energy efficiency<\/strong> of the B&B, we\u2019ve minimized single-use products, prioritized zero-kilometer food for breakfast, and promoted activities like trekking and cycling<\/strong> to explore our area sustainably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Would You Describe Your Ideal \u201cEco-Traveler\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our ideal eco-traveler is curious<\/strong> and eager to explore the area responsibly<\/strong>, often choosing less crowded times of the year for a more intimate and authentic experience<\/strong>. They seek hospitality that respects the environment<\/a> and want to deeply connect with the region, far from mainstream tourist paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For us, that\u2019s the greatest recognition of our work: it\u2019s not just a stay but an experience that leaves a lasting impression<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Busting the Myth: Is Sustainability Always More Expensive?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Absolutely not. In many cases, ecological choices<\/strong> lead to savings. For example, renewable energy<\/strong> sources and energy-efficient materials significantly reduce long-term costs. Additionally, choosing local and farm-to-table products<\/strong> not only benefits the environment but also supports the local economy. Sustainability isn\u2019t just an ethical choice\u2014it can also be economically advantageous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which Green Initiatives Have Been Most Satisfying and Appreciated by Guests?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Among all our initiatives, guests appreciate trekking opportunities the most. Many ask for information on trails and walks<\/strong>, and when possible, I love accompanying them personally. It\u2019s a way to share not just the beauty of the landscapes but also our values tied to sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Do the Values and Projects of Ecobnb Resonate with Your Establishment?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We are completely aligned with Ecobnb\u2019s mission. Our philosophy is similar: promoting tourism that respects the environment and enhances the local area. Our B&B was designed with the goal of minimizing ecological impact, and we believe Ecobnb\u2019s model can truly shape the future of tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
