Thus, “Home Bed & Breakfast Una Casa nel Verde<\/strong>” was born in Magnano<\/strong>, a place that\u2019s not just about offering hospitality, but also the culmination of a life project Paul built with patience, dedication, and love, alongside his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His story begins with a longing to leave behind the hustle of modern life<\/strong> and embrace a simpler, more authentic existence in tune with the rhythms of the earth and its seasons. From transforming an old barn into a cozy yoga space to welcoming a yurt all the way from Mongolia<\/a><\/strong>, every step Paul took was an act of faith towards a harmonious and sustainable way of living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result is a peaceful haven in the lush Biellese landscape, where travelers come seeking tranquility, wellness, and a deep connection to nature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did “Home B&B Una Casa nel Verde” come about?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Home Bed and Breakfast<\/strong> was born from a dream: to live in nature and experience it every day, to be part of it, share its gifts, and participate in the great miracle that renews itself daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step by step, the hOMe Anahata project <\/strong>took shape: a life dedicated to nature, yoga, and self-discovery. It led us to this small town nestled in the hills, Magnano, a place surrounded by greenery, where we dedicate time to practicing yoga<\/strong> and inner exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We worked intensely for a year, organizing self-construction workshops<\/strong> using straw and raw earth, dug right from behind the house. We transformed a barn into a warm and welcoming space where we could practice and share moments of joy and peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then created a synergistic vegetable garden<\/strong> for our needs and embarked on a New Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next came a yurt from Mongolia<\/strong>, which we set up in the woods near our farmhouse, dedicating it to meditation and experiential workshops. Finally, we opened our latest addition: the Bed & Breakfast, to welcome guests and travelers exploring the Biellese region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What eco-sustainable and community-supportive practices have you adopted?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We try to live in harmony<\/strong> with the rhythms and seasons of the Earth. We’re fortunate to have as neighbors an elderly couple of farmers<\/strong> who, over the years, have maintained the landscape for animal grazing. They also delight us with butter and cheese reminiscent of a bygone era. We heat our home and produce hot water using wood we gather from our land, helping to care for the forest, a living element that requires attention to preserve its wild beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The products we offer to our guests are local, organic, and sustainable<\/strong>: sourdough bread, local jams, and ecological soaps to provide a healthy and natural welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For several years now, we’ve been part of the SlowFood<\/strong> network with the Slow Land Montagne Biellesi project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do your guests appreciate most?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our guests often express their deep appreciation for the landscape that surrounds us<\/strong>. We are nestled in green meadows yet easily accessible by a road that winds through the wooded hills from Biella to Ivrea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once they arrive, guests can walk along gentle trails<\/strong>, savoring the scents of nature and listening to the silence at any time of day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The B&B\u2019s spaces have been carefully curated to offer moments of rest and self-care, whether admiring the landscape from the wooden terrace overlooking the pastures<\/strong>, enjoying a rejuvenating sauna<\/strong>, or strolling peacefully without a care in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What itineraries and experiences should visitors not miss?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Biellese territory<\/strong> is incredibly varied. The hills around us offer many routes for hiking, biking, or horseback riding, through oak and chestnut forests that cover a vast area extending towards the Canavese region<\/strong> and Ivrea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearby, we have some small yet picturesque glacial lakes<\/strong>: Lake Sirio<\/strong>, with an easy loop trail that crosses the \u201cdancing lands,\u201d and Lake Viverone<\/strong>, offering panoramic views of the Biellese mountains and, further away, those of the Aosta Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Burcina Nature Reserve<\/strong>, created in the early 1900s, is a pre-mountain ecosystem home to an extraordinary variety of botanical species. It\u2019s also an ideal spot for birdwatching and enjoying wonderful walks in a unique environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Towards Biella<\/a><\/strong>, the terrain becomes more mountainous, with challenging treks climbing the pre-Alpine slopes<\/strong> and leading to high-altitude refuges, extending as far as the Aosta Valley<\/strong> or offering views of Valsesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just a short distance from Magnano, there are several adventure parks<\/strong> where both adults and children can test themselves on climbing courses and adventurous descents among trees and aerial platforms. Further toward the Aosta Valley, but still in Piedmont, there is a renowned and well-loved climbing wall, even equipped for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, many of our guests have taken the Cammino di Oropa<\/a><\/strong>, a route that starts from the plains and, over three days, reaches the Sanctuary of Oropa<\/strong> at over 1,000 meters. This slow-travel path has gained immense popularity and offers the chance to explore the diverse Biellese landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being part of Ecobnb means belonging to a community of people<\/strong> who share our dreams of a Natural Life <\/strong>and caring for the Earth.
