As a base for our journey in Polesine, we choose Castelguglielmo. It’s a small town perfect for relaxing at the end of our days. Here, we are welcomed by Andrea. He’s the host of La Piccola Casa di Via Ricotti<\/strong>,<\/a> an eco<\/strong>–sustainable<\/strong> and recently renovated accommodation<\/strong> that provides every comfort and has a small forest in front of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our journey in Polesine. First stop: Fratta Polesine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fratta Polesine<\/strong>, which dates back to the Roman era, has a captivating and extensive history. As you stroll through the streets, you’ll come across remnants of the past in every nook and cranny, from the ruins of ancient medieval walls to the Castle of Fratta<\/strong>, a testament to the centuries of domination and struggles that have shaped the area’s history. The Civic Museum, situated in the heart of the historical center, showcases valuable archaeological artifacts and artworks that narrate the rich cultural heritage of Fratta Polesine.
