If you want nature, this North American giant has to be on your agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a look at some of the <strong>most spectacular destinations<\/strong> if you want to connect with nature in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Banff National Park<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Located in the <strong>Rocky Mountains of Alberta<\/strong>, Banff National Park is Canada&#8217;s oldest national park. Visitors can choose from a wide range of routes, from short, easy walks to multi-day hikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wildlife viewing:<\/strong> This territory is home to a wide variety of <strong>animals<\/strong>, including moose, caribou, black bears, red foxes, eagles and hawks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kayaking and canoeing<\/strong>: this is one of the most recommended activities. In this park it is common to explore the coastline and lakes by kayak or canoe. The park&#8217;s coastline is breathtaking and offers excellent views of the mountains and wildlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Whale-watching<\/strong>: another exciting proposition in this park, especially in Bonne Bay. Humpback, minke and fin whales are common in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those wishing to try a more environmentally friendly form of accommodation have the option of camping in one of the three <strong>camping areas<\/strong>. It is designed to <strong>protect the region&#8217;s biodiversity <\/strong>and to promote the economic and social <strong>sustainability <\/strong>of local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Activities in the Bay of Fundy Biosphere Reserve include <strong>whale watching<\/strong>, <strong>hiking <\/strong>at various levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most popular activities in this reserve is <strong>bird watching<\/strong>. More than 300 species of birds live here, including some of the rarest in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Prince Edward Island National Park<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/parks.canada.ca\/pn-np\/pe\/pei-ipe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prince Edward Island National Park<\/a> is located in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island. It is located in a transitional region between the boreal forests of the north and the deciduous forests of the south, giving it a rich biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The park is a popular destination for visitors looking to enjoy outdoor activities such as <strong>hiking<\/strong>, <strong>camping<\/strong>, swimming, surfing, bird watching and <strong>wildlife <\/strong>viewing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is especially pleasant for cycling, with some 20 kilometres of paved multi-purpose <strong>cycling trails<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several hiking trails, including a route along the <strong>Gulf of St. Lawrence cliff route<\/strong>, which offers breathtaking views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Jasper National Park<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We finish again in the province of Alberta, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teretoadescubrirelmundo.com\/en\/post\/how-to-visit-jasper-national-park-alberta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jasper National Park<\/a>, the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, with an area of more than <strong>10,800 square kilometres<\/strong>. Some of the most interesting routes are on <strong>Mount Edith Cavell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Excursions: such as walking on the <strong>Athabasca Glacier<\/strong>, one of the largest and most accessible of the <strong>Rocky Mountain glaciers<\/strong>, can be reached via the <strong>Icefields Road<\/strong>, where visitors can walk on the ice on the glacier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Canoeing and kayaking<\/strong>: <strong>Lake Maligne<\/strong>, for example, is one of the most photographed lakes in the world and is surrounded by mountains and forests.
