Since 2018 the &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.muralifestival.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Street Art Festival Forl\u00ec Murali<\/a>&#8216;, an event held for two years in Forl\u00ec, has involved famous street artists. During this urban art event, street artists from all over the world were invited to create new murals on the walls of the city&#8217;s walls and public buildings. These murals helped to redevelop some corners of the city of Forl\u00ec and make it an increasingly popular destination for<strong> urban art<\/strong> lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first edition of the festival was dedicated to the <strong>Constitution of the Italian Republic<\/strong>, while the second edition had the <strong>Renaissance<\/strong> as its theme, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Aurelio Saffi&#8217;s birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>The street art in the heart of Forl\u00ec celebrating the Italian Constitution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Walking through the streets of the <strong>historic center<\/strong>, the variety and colours of the murals immediately pleased me. Every corner hides a different work of art, telling the story and culture of Forl\u00ec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, there are murals dedicated to famous people in the city, such as the poet and film director <strong>Pier Paolo Pasolini<\/strong>, and murals representing historical events that marked the city, such as the <strong>Resistance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My itinerary among Forl\u00ec&#8217;s street artworks starts right from <strong>Parco della Resistenza<\/strong>, where <strong>Camilla Falsini<\/strong>&#8216;s brightly coloured murals, created in 2018, recount the <strong>Italian Constitution<\/strong>&#8216;s principles of freedom, equality, and participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mural\u00ec Street Art Festival Forl\u00ec \u2022 Video Camilla Falsini\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ga29iEUvJ4c?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/ecobnb.com\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, after admiring the murals of the green area in the heart of Forl\u00ec, my tour continues through <strong>Corso della Repubblica<\/strong> to the wide <strong>Piazza Saffi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img width=\"870\" height=\"490\" src=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-13-870x490.png\" alt=\"Piazza Saffi in Forl\u00ec\" class=\"wp-image-50133\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-13.png 870w, https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-13-536x302.png 536w, https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-13-768x433.png 768w, https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-13-570x320.png 570w, https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-13-344x194.png 344w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 870px) 100vw, 870px\" \/><figcaption>Piazza Saffi, picture by Silvia Ombrellini<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, having passed the beautiful <strong>Basilica of San Mercuriale<\/strong>, I continue to walk to <strong>Via dei Filergiti<\/strong> and then to <strong>Piazza del Carmine<\/strong>. Even a simple worker can achieve great nobility through his work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ZED 1 (@ via Nullo) - MURALI STREET ART FESTIVAL FORLI&#039; 2018\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TVVsZiAKCIE?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/ecobnb.com\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>From Piazza Saffi to Via Maceri, street art dedicated to the Reinassance <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, when I was returning to Piazza Saffi, in <strong>Via dei Filergiti<\/strong>, the artistic work of <strong>Sema Lao<\/strong> surprised me, representing Aurelio Saffi and his wife Giorgina, two symbols of the city of Forl\u00ec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img width=\"870\" height=\"490\" src=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-15-870x490.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-50135\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-15.png 870w, https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-15-536x302.png 536w, https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-15-768x433.png 768w, https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-15-570x320.png 570w, https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/03\/image-15-344x194.png 344w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 870px) 100vw, 870px\" \/><figcaption>Aurelia Saffi and Georgina Saffi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, I continue along Via Maceri to admire <strong>Andrea Ravo Mattoni<\/strong>&#8216;s mural, which reinterprets a famous work by Forl\u00ec painter <strong>Annibale Gatti<\/strong>. Today the walls of the building, located in<strong> Via Fossato Vecchio<\/strong>, a few steps from the centre, have been reborn through street art.
