It will also allow you to enjoy the <strong>Flobette<\/strong>: the descent of the <strong>Lesse<\/strong> in a <strong>kayak<\/strong>. A beautiful trip that will take you to the <strong>Walzin castle<\/strong> and the<strong> Chaleux rock<\/strong> formations. We recommend that you dedicate at least one day to the <strong>kayak trip<\/strong>. Take your packed lunch with you for a break and enjoy a little <strong>picnic<\/strong> on the meadows along the Lesse descent.<\/p>\n<p>With the company &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dinant-evasion.be\/en\/kayak-river-lesse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dinant \u00e9vasion<\/a>&#8221; you can rent all your <strong>kayaking equipment<\/strong>. The crossing of the two dams, a unique feature of the Lesse, will make your day! It is a total escape!<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Gendron-Anseremme<\/strong>&#8221; \u00a0is 12 km long and takes about 2\u00bd hours on average.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Houyet-Gendron<\/strong>&#8221; is 9 km long and has an average duration of about 2 hours. On this route, you can relax in complete serenity through the simple pleasure of gliding over the water in the middle of a wooded landscape.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dinant \u00e9vasion will also offer you the possibility of<strong> combining<\/strong> your <strong>kayaking<\/strong> adventure with other fun <strong>activities<\/strong> such as <strong>paintball<\/strong>, <strong>laser games<\/strong>, <strong>mountain biking<\/strong> and <strong>rail biking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>2. We took a walk in this <strong>nature reserve<\/strong> with an atypical route. In addition to the <strong>beautiful views<\/strong> of the Lesse and the surrounding nature, there are also ancient <strong>ruins<\/strong> from Roman times along the way, as well as caves and strange holes to venture into. It is a fun and easy walk that really allow you to get out into the <strong>green<\/strong> and enjoy the <strong>peace<\/strong> and <strong>quiet<\/strong> of nature.<\/p>\n<p>Without stopping on this <strong>4 km natural route<\/strong> and passing all the points of interest, the walk can take about two short hours, or more if you decide to.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/laflobette.be\/restauration-artisanale-kayak-lesse-dinant-furfooz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Flobette<\/a> is the perfect place to take a little <strong>gastronomic break<\/strong> during your walk through the heart of nature in Furfooz park. This bar-restaurant and brewery offer homemade and artisanal cuisine based on wild plants found in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<h2>3. The <strong>view<\/strong> is simply <strong>magnificent<\/strong>! Little secret: take the guided tour, it&#8217;s the only way to get access to the secret rooms and the best view of the citadel!<\/p>\n<h2>4. Explore the town of Dinant on foot, find all the saxophones on display everywhere, go to the house of <strong>Leffe<\/strong> or see the cave of Dinant La Merveilleuse. In this part of Belgium, there are so-called &#8216;<strong>bike highways&#8217;<\/strong>, for example, there are several routes and from <strong>Dinant,<\/strong> you can easily cycle to <strong>Namur<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>5. What would jazz be without the sound of the <strong>saxophone<\/strong>? <strong>Adolphe Sax<\/strong> was born in Dinant, the birthplace of the famous instrument maker, soloist, acoustician, composer, conductor, pedagogue and publisher! <strong>The House of Monsieur Sax<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Maison de Monsieur Sax&#8221;, free entry, is not an ordinary museum, but rather an invitation to enter the universe of a multi-talented character. Located in the building where Sax was born, on 6 November <strong>1814<\/strong>, the centre takes you through the fantastic destiny of the saxophone.<\/p>\n<h2>6. The <strong>Caracole<\/strong> microbrewery, located in the small village of <strong>Falmignoul<\/strong>, a 12-minute drive from Dinant, is a place where beer is brewed over a <strong>wood fire<\/strong>! A visit to this atypical place is quick and enriching. On-site, you can taste and buy directly. A place that is full of history and authenticity. We recommend that you try the <strong>Troublette<\/strong> and the <strong>Saxo<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<h2>7. It is a <strong>biscuit<\/strong> <strong>sculpted<\/strong> like a sweet work of <strong>art<\/strong>, famous for its hardness, made from a base of honey, flour and sugar. Another peculiarity is that it is produced in <strong>different<\/strong> <strong>shapes<\/strong>, inspired by the seasons and festivals. A handy tip for enjoying the &#8220;cocque&#8221;: don&#8217;t try to chew them, but suck them like candy.<\/p>\n<h2>8. A glass of wine from Ch\u00e2teau Bon Baron<\/h2>\n<p>The vineyards of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chateaubonbaron.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ch\u00e2teau Bon Baron<\/a>, located in the <strong>Sambre and Meuse valleys<\/strong>, produce quality wines produced according to<strong> tradition<\/strong> and following an <strong>ecological approach<\/strong>. These wines bear the protected designation of origin &#8220;C\u00f4te de Sambre et Meuse&#8221;. The Ch\u00e2teau Bon Baron winery can be visited by appointment. Accompany your glass of Belgian wine with a slice of<strong> flamiche<\/strong>, a savoury pie made with cheese, butter and eggs &#8220;boulette de Romedenne&#8221;. This recipe is said to have originated from the <strong>imagination<\/strong> of a <strong>farmer<\/strong> who inadvertently dropped a bag containing eggs, butter and cheese.
