There is a strong desire to return to a normal life, of which holidays are an essential part.<\/p>\n<p>A study by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/group.humancompany.com\/it\/news\/turismo-open-air-in-italia-un-comparto-da-oltre-8-miliardi-di-euro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Outdoor Tourism Observatory<\/strong><\/a> reports that the propensity to <strong>vacation<\/strong> is growing sharply, + 77%, among who went on vacation last year, and is growing even more, in particular by <strong>80%<\/strong>, among those who have taken an <strong>outdoor<\/strong> <strong>holiday<\/strong> in a <strong>village<\/strong>, camping or <strong>road trip<\/strong> in the last year. In recent years, the <strong>profile<\/strong> of open-air <strong>tourists<\/strong> has changed. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.istitutopiepoli.it\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Piepoli Institute<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s survey highlights that mainly <strong>men<\/strong> practise outdoor tourism (45% of the total male interviewees against 40% of the total among women), including the age group between 35 and 64 years (53%) and to a fairly uniform extent among the residents of the various Italian regions.<\/p>\n<p>The outdoor tourist is placed in the \u201c<strong>Great expectations<\/strong>\u201d cluster, referring to people&#8217;s desire to have psychologically rewarding experiences.
