Because of its scenic location<\/strong>, it\u2019s even possible to see the alpine village of Schignano, in Val d\u2019Intelvi<\/strong>, a valley between two lakes \u2013 Lake Como<\/strong> and Lake Lugano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

How did Al Marnich Farmhouse come to be?<\/h2>\n

\u00abIt came from my father\u2019s initiative. Back in 1995<\/strong>, he left Milan behind to move to Valle d\u2019Intelvi and start his great enterprise, pretty much from scratch<\/strong>: he had bought 2 late 1700s farmsteads which didn\u2019t even have running water or electricity.\u00bb<\/p>\n
