Adamello Brenta Park is the largest protected area in Trentino. The CETS – Park Quality Brand selects the best eco-sustainable hotels in this area full of natural wonders. <\/span><\/h2>\n

The Adamello Brenta Park is an area rich in unparalleled natural beauty, from the Brenta Dolomites<\/strong>, declared World Heritage Site<\/strong>, to the crystal clear lakes<\/strong> set in the mountains sides.<\/span><\/p>\n

This protected area is crossed by the Val Rendena and surrounded by the valleys of Non, Sole, and Giudicarie. Moreover, it contains some of the most suggestive natural wonders<\/strong> of Trentino<\/strong>. The safeguard of lakes, glaciers, waterfalls, woods, and landscapes is a very important aspect here. Forests, mainly coniferous<\/strong>, occupy one third of the Park’s surface. Above 1800 meters, the woods give way to alpine meadows<\/strong> and suggestive Dolomite peaks. <\/span><\/p>\n

These uncontaminated environments represent a fertile ground to promote and support sustainable tourism<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Park Quality Brand: What it is<\/h2>\n

The Park Quality Brand\/CETS<\/strong> is a sustainability project that rewards eco-friendly structures and companies in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park<\/strong><\/a>. The environmental certification project identifies and certifies tourist companies (hotels, farmhouses, Bed & Breakfasts, campsites) that meet certain environmental protection<\/strong> requirements and link with the territory<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Born in 2003<\/strong>, the Park Quality Brand is one of the most important initiatives dedicated to sustainability and tourism promotion in Italy. The project promotes the environmental awareness of the accommodation facilities and agro-food producers in the Natural Park. Since 2020, the Park Quality Brand has been recognized by the Europarc \/ Federparchi European Charter of Sustainable Tourism <\/strong>(CETS) certification.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the national level, this is one of the first initiatives<\/strong> of a protected area aimed at combining<\/strong> the safeguarding<\/strong> and protection of the environment with promotional and territorial marketing activities. The goal is to spread the philosophy of sustainability<\/strong>, directly involving economic operators and the inhabitants of the park, thus reducing the environmental impacts<\/strong><\/a> of tourism and enhancing the territory. <\/span><\/p>\n

By assigning a badge<\/strong> to the most eco-sustainable hotels in the area, the project has made it possible to innovate tourist hospitality<\/strong>, to connect them more strongly with the territory and to make them aware of their ecological footprint<\/a>. At the same time, the project allowed operators to network, strengthen the dialogue between accommodation facilities and agricultural businesses, and offer an increasingly sustainable tourism experience to their guests.<\/span><\/p>\n

Green requirements of Park Quality facilities<\/h2>\n

Adherence to the certification project is voluntary and it requires a lot of conviction from the accommodation facilities in wanting to reduce their environmental impacts<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
