Mezzano<\/strong> is a small village<\/strong> in Trentino<\/strong>, a jewel of Primiero located at the foot of Pale di San Martino<\/strong>. If at first it seems like another of the many mountain villages of the region, with the traditional houses in wood and stone and the panorama of the Dolomites<\/strong> that surrounds them, you will soon realize that Mezzano is a unique place.<\/p>\n

Along the narrow<\/strong> alleys<\/strong>, at the foot of the ancient facades<\/strong>, in the squares, in the courtyards, under the stairs and on the balconies<\/strong>, you will find the traditional supply<\/strong> of<\/strong> wood<\/strong> for the winter transformed however in small works<\/strong> of art<\/strong>. Here, every pile of wood is a curious sculpture<\/strong>: there is a face in tears, a big cob, gigantic flowers. Next to the works created by local<\/strong> artisans<\/strong>, every year Mezzano also welcomes established<\/strong> artists<\/strong> who engage in beautiful installations: there is the accordion by Max Gaudenzi, the hourglass, closed between sun and moon to mark the passage of time, by Giuliano Rattin, the wood by Albino Rossi, the large wall by Marco Baj, which recalls the flood that struck the town in 1966.<\/p>\n
