Poppies, daisies, cornflowers attract predatory insects and parasites, acting as true &#8216;natural pesticides&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p>Coriander, cornflower, buckwheat, poppy, and dill are being planted in long <strong>stripes<\/strong> across the <strong>fields<\/strong> to attract insects that usually attack <strong>pests<\/strong>. The aim was to find a solution to the increasing environmental <strong>impact<\/strong> of agriculture on nature. Moreover, according to French <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/nplants20178.epdf?referrer_access_token=I_I7hFtnSxY5koUt9Q2DmtRgN0jAjWel9jnR3ZoTv0NR6PCxVHj1pDIuEets_6LB6NEe4Hrz7tizHHJ5L78zZagFZtuckzwdvmcrIy5KsqDEtdE13wGNnIYTFNMdZx-6OZ-9ntVjBJlA2iDZvP6qaWfFAV_5yJO85Y_Ce_2xSmHYOWJRrKcRDscA5YKwOvseUHIgxtsSdGnoheccIrWojEet0fR7fvHsJk-8Jg1Qmi8OKn7NJkSKu_tQD1brJ7EGdWSPx5DKv4QAZOEALJjxxLqUWmZndP3c98bwxJZ88UggB8PoAemI9ZgZP0CpEbGJxOBhCq45jPxhk_ieMv8v257EIu8895oSD17tAc7uIexA9sizrKvAGupAgORX-095COey9q2Z93aJX5-83ZQHiL3qm51_Dpq1ui-QTV9qFKJsrfbaK9hbE-LsXhogecfqdwIxYVAYMOPqLDitp2iLWfZOyqibMW4Xk-KHMLHiq-SmC-_37EAUqvWSHT5ATr-0AzhA90UIUj0odZMtCFsXees-eGvVgzBzUvwe7N15odIzCgcZ0HOUEAx2nydDf6cr6QceUqYom0imKI0TT5ADwQ%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\">research <\/a>(2017), an agricultural enterprise using this method is not just <strong>environmentally-friendly<\/strong>, but it also improves its <strong>productivity<\/strong> and <strong>profitability<\/strong> in 38.8% of cases.\u00a0Another <a href=\"https:\/\/royalsocietypublishing.org\/doi\/full\/10.1098\/rspb.2015.1369\" target=\"_blank\">investigation <\/a>from <strong>Switzerland<\/strong> has been tracking this alternative agriculture. The scientists have discovered that a specific type of <strong>larva<\/strong> has been decreased by 40%. This insect was the reason for huge damages in <strong>corn<\/strong> <strong>harvests<\/strong>. Indeed, a disadvantage of this technique is that the flower stripes are situated on each side of the land. So, some <strong>pests<\/strong> can reach the internal part of the field. Therefore, pesticide sprays are still necessary for some portions.\u00a0Nevertheless, in England, there is a program called <a href=\"https:\/\/assist.ceh.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">ASSET<\/a> that is useful to monitor the flower strips fields. It is a research about the true efficiency of flowers, for instance,<strong> daisies, clovers, dark cornflower and carrots<\/strong>. However, <strong>Crea<\/strong> (the national institution for the <em>agricultural economy<\/em>) has tried to plant many types of vegetable families, also <strong>wildflowers<\/strong> in order to booster biodiversity.<\/p>\n<p>Our planet balance is controlled by <strong>biodiversity<\/strong>. Scientists have proved that only an environment that is similar to the natural one is able to <strong>self-regulate<\/strong>.
