The <strong>study<\/strong>, named <strong>Special Report 15<\/strong>, confirms the consequences caused by the <strong>continuing increase of global temperature<\/strong> and other climate changes. The established limit is +1,5\u00b0C. But the <strong>extreme phenomena<\/strong> in our Planet happen by now almost everyday. Hurricanes always more damaging, catastrophic hailstorms, floods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Climate changes<\/strong> cause <strong>melting glaciers<\/strong> and consequently rising sea levels. In some cases, we cannot even predict the risks. It was confirmed in the <strong>Special Report 15<\/strong>, a study by the IPCC, <strong>Intergovernmental Panel on the Climate Change<\/strong>. It\u2019s now clear that climate-change deniers &#8211; who perhaps live in their own world \u2013 don\u2019t have any credibility left. It\u2019s too late to fix it all, but we need to change things. If we don\u2019t reduce drastically <strong>greenhouse gas emissions<\/strong>, in <strong>12 years<\/strong> the consequences will be far more dramatic.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>study is highly credible.<\/strong> It\u2019s the result of the analysis made by <strong>91 highly qualified experts<\/strong> on almost 6,000 studies and researches. An enormous workload, real time supervised by tens of other scientists. Nothing was left up to fate. Scientists explained also the <strong>urgent need to reduce as much as possible the <a href=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/2016\/03\/co2-save-green-hotel\/\" target=\"_blank\">CO2 quantity in the air<\/a><\/strong>. Since the help given by forests and woods <strong>could not be enough<\/strong>, it\u2019s necessary to develop and use <strong>technologies<\/strong> able to capture carbon dioxide on a larger scale. These technologies are not all yet to be developed. Many <strong>islands and atolls<\/strong> are dangerously <strong>threatened by the rising sea levels<\/strong> caused by the glaciers\u2019 melting.<br \/>\nIf the temperature increase will be limited to 1,5\u00b0C, the <strong>global rising<\/strong> of the seas will be 10 cm less than the levels correspondent to a 2\u00b0C temperature increase. If the temperatures do reach and <strong>pass the +2\u00b0C limit<\/strong>, instead, the scenario will be unbelievable. And it will take <strong>thousands of years to recover<\/strong> from the chemical changes due to the <strong>acidification<\/strong> process\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the <strong>northern hemisphere<\/strong> will be hit by sudden <strong>heath waves<\/strong> that will cause extremely <strong>devastating<\/strong> hurricanes, floods and droughts. Even the risk of a <strong>desertic Europe<\/strong>, especially the southern regions, is high. A series of <strong>dangerous consequences<\/strong> in front of which the world\u2019s population could be completely unprepared.<\/p>\n<h2>Our society\u2019s time is up. That\u2019s why they dedicated an entire chapter to the ways we can use to <strong>act before it gets too late<\/strong>. By 2050, greenhouse gas emissions must be only a <strong>bad memory<\/strong>. To make this possible, <strong>all world\u2019s social, political, economic and financial powers<\/strong> must cooperate. The goals are to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Use everywhere only <strong>clean energy<\/strong>, from transports to industries to buildings<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduce by 45% the toxic emissions<\/strong> between 2010 and 2030 and eliminate them completely by 2050<\/li>\n<li>Produce at least 70%-80% of the total required <strong>energy through renewable sources<\/strong> by 2050<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The situation is <strong>alarming<\/strong>. As shown by last year\u2019s data. The <strong>global temperature<\/strong> has already risen by 1\u00b0C. However, according to IPCC scientists this is not the <strong>end<\/strong> yet. With their crucial work, they indicated the <strong>best ways to act <\/strong>to make the climate change less dramatic as possible. In everyday life, each of us can<strong> adopt <a href=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/blog\/2018\/11\/10-green-habits-save-planet\/\" target=\"_blank\">good sustainable habits necessary to save the environment<\/a><\/strong>. Until now, too many of us joked at the <strong>Planet\u2019s fate<\/strong> expenses.
