The town can be reached on foot, following a <strong>winding mule track<\/strong>\u00a0or with a <strong>cable car<\/strong>, departing from <strong>Buisson<\/strong>, down in the valley, or by <strong>small propeller planes<\/strong>. Chamois is the only Italian car-free town! It is the perfect place <strong>to go trekking and enjoy magical Alpine views<\/strong>! There are a lot of trails, <strong>starting straight from the center<\/strong> of the\u00a0town or from the cable car station, where the information centers are also located.<\/p>\n<p>An <strong>interesting route<\/strong> suitable for your children is that of the <em>&#8220;Energie in Gioco&#8221;<\/em>, about 3 km along the<strong> Balcony on the Matterhorn<\/strong> where, through various installations and games, it is possible to deepen the knowledge of the <strong>natural elements used for the production of energy<\/strong> and how to spare them.<\/p>\n<p>Do not miss the visit to the <strong>ancient mills of La Magdeleine<\/strong>. There are eight mills between the fractions of Brengon, Clou and Messelod, aligned\u00a0along a <strong>small stream of water<\/strong> originating from some springs beneath the slopes of Monte Tantan\u00e9. Once the mills were used to grind wheat cultivated around the town, an ancient trace of a rural economy. <strong>Guided tours<\/strong> can be booked for a visit.<\/p>\n<p>Even <strong>mountain bike lovers<\/strong> will not be disappointed! Many are also the paths that can be followed with <strong>snowshoes and mountaineering ski<\/strong>.
