The list of new Unesco sites is updated again, with twenty new entries and five extensions of sites already present among UNESCO’s sites. Let’s discover together the new UNESCO’s sites!<\/h3>\n

Sites recognized by UNESCO are those places spread all over the world that have\u00a0an\u00a0extraordinary historical<\/strong>, cultural<\/strong> or environmental<\/strong> value<\/strong>. Unbelievable places that deserve to be a World<\/strong>\u00a0heritage<\/strong> and for this reason they must be preserved<\/strong> and protected.<\/strong> For this year, UNESCO<\/strong> has evaluated 33 proposals, approving 25<\/strong>, reaching 1073<\/strong> sites<\/strong> of interest. And Italy<\/strong> confirms its primacy<\/strong> with 53 UNESCO sites distributed in 17 regions. From this year the\u00a0primeval beech<\/strong> forests<\/strong>, ranging from the Abruzzo National Park to the Umbrian Forest, and the Venetian Works<\/strong> of Defense<\/strong>,\u00a0that are also found in Croatia and Montenegro, have also become heritage.<\/p>\n

China continues to grow and it seems that overtaking is getting closer: with the new entry of the island of Kulangsu and the Qinghai Hoh Xil Reserve, China reaches 52 Unesco’s sites.<\/p>\n

The new twenty new sites<\/strong> in UNESCO’s heritage<\/strong> are both historic and cultural sites and natural parks; three are in Africa, nine in Asia, four in Europe, three in America and one in Oceania. In particular, these are the other Unesco’s sites:<\/p>\n

  3. Mbanza Kongo, Angola<\/li>\n
  4. Valongo Wharf, archeological site, Brazil<\/li>\n
  5. Sambor Prei Kuk, Cambodia<\/li>\n
  6. Asmara, Eritrea<\/li>\n
  7. Taputapu\u0101tea, French Polynesia<\/li>\n
  8. Kujataa, Greenland<\/li>\n
  9. Caves of Swabian Jura, Germany<\/li>\n
  10. Ahmadabad, India<\/li>\n
  11. Yazd, Iran<\/li>\n
  12. Sacred Island of Okinoshima, Japan<\/li>\n
  13. Aphrodisias, Turkey<\/li>\n
  14. Hebron Old Town, Palestine<\/li>\n
  15. \u01c2Khomani, South Africa<\/li>\n
  16. Tarnowskie G\u00f3ry, lead-silver-zinc mine, Poland<\/li>\n
  17. Assumption Cathedral and Monastery of Sviyazhsk<\/li>\n
  18. Lake District, United Kingdom<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
