The idea of \u200b\u200ba Ligurian-Tyrrhenian cycle-tourist path arose from a proposal by\u00a0the Tuscany Region<\/strong> which involved before Liguria<\/strong> and then Lazio regions. It will be a thousand kilometers bike path<\/strong> that would enhance the priceless heritage of this part of the Italian coast. The path will also join important cycling routes such as Mediterranean EuroVelo<\/strong> 8 and\u00a0Francigena Eurovelo<\/strong> 5<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Memorandum of Understanding\u00a0has been signed on April 7<\/span>, then we are waiting\u00a0for the response of the government, that must\u00a0fund the project, whose estimated cost currently amounts to 100 million euro.<\/p>\n

It is an ambitious project, but it could give a new impetus to sustainable tourism<\/strong> in Italy. Together with the project that is already approved of\u00a0Lake Garda round cycle path, Italy could become the dream destination for tourists from around the world who decide to travel<\/strong> by<\/strong> bike,<\/strong> a figure that is steadily increasing.<\/p>\n
