The trip\u00a0starts from Sulmona<\/strong> at\u00a0328m above sea level, we arrive at the top, up to the 1268m<\/strong> altitude of Rivisondoli-Pescocostanzo station and then go down again, to get to Iserna<\/strong>, at 423m above sea level.<\/p>\n

Since opening in September 18, 1897<\/strong>, this railway engineering masterpiece has suffered the damages\u00a0of World War II (the Trans-Siberian\u00a0of\u00a0Italy was later restored in the sixties) and then the arrive\u00a0of high-speed trains and the closing of the stations. But since the Trans-Siberian train\u00a0of Italy went back\u00a0to travel, it\u00a0has obtained a success that went\u00a0beyond all expectations.<\/p>\n

Each event is fully<\/strong> booked<\/strong>.
