The village is accessible only by chairlift, and or from\u00a0<strong>La<\/strong> <strong>Magdeleine<\/strong> by\u00a04 and a half km of pedestrian path. La Magdeleine and Chamois are two small alpine villages that have a total of 200 people who have embraced a eco-sustainable lifestyle, deciding to live without a car, in close contact with nature.<\/p>\n<p>We met <strong>Francesca<\/strong> <strong>Vernazza<\/strong>, young Head of Tourism of the City of Chamois, and <strong>Rosario Sorrentino<\/strong>, director of the City of La Magdeleine. Both are not born\u00a0in Aosta Valley\u00a0but they decided to move in\u00a0after falling in love with this <strong>piece of paradise<\/strong> in the Alps. Francesca came here\u00a0with her\u00a0small daughters, leaving her\u00a0city on the sea of \u200b\u200bLiguria . &#8220;I wanted that\u00a0my girls will grow up in a place away from the city traffic&#8221;, she told me. From here you reach La Magdeleine on foot or by <strong>electric<\/strong> <strong>bike<\/strong>, along the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ecobnb.com\/itinerary\/from-la-magdeleine-to-chamois\" target=\"_blank\">beautiful cycle route<\/a><\/strong> of 4.5 km that connects the two towns. In the <strong>winter<\/strong>, forget the car and move between Chamois and La Magdeleine only on <strong>skis<\/strong> or snowshoes, or move with the lifts. So you can live\u00a0relaxing holiday, enchanted\u00a0by the beauty of the landscapes and tuning in with the slow rhythms of nature.
