Many travelers say that, thanks to Ecobnb, they have discovered accommodations they would hardly have found through large general booking platforms.

Ecobnb’s mission is to make it easier to find special places to stay and discover accommodations that adopt concrete sustainability practices, offering a more conscious and responsible way to travel.

The experiences shared include stays in farmhouses, treehouses, glamping sites, eco-chalets, accommodations immersed in greenery and places where sustainability combines with hospitality, quality and authenticity.

“Definitely more than a positive experience. 10 stars if I could. Truly a wonderful experience. Thanks to Ecobnb, I spent four wonderful days in the snow in Cogne, a place I might never have discovered given the wide range of ski destinations available in the catalogues. Simone was extremely kind to us, helping us out several times with his kindness and understanding. I wish there were more organizations like this.”

What do travelers appreciate about Ecobnb?

!["Ecobnb]("https://ecobnb.com/blog/app/uploads/sites/3/2026/07/rifugio-di-mare.jpg")

User reviews reveal several recurring themes that show what travelers are looking for and appreciate most when choosing Ecobnb.

Concrete sustainability

Travelers appreciate the opportunity to find accommodations that adopt concrete sustainability practices, from reducing energy consumption to promoting local products, sustainable mobility and waste reduction.

Unique and authentic accommodations

Ecobnb makes it possible to discover places that are very different from traditional hotels and large accommodation facilities: small farm stays, glamping sites, eco-hotels, B&Bs surrounded by nature and rural hospitality.

A more personal relationship

Several reviews highlight the availability and kindness of the people who work at Ecobnb. Chiara, Simone and Silvia look after the community every day and strive to offer travelers direct and personal support.

An alternative to large general booking platforms

Some travelers choose Ecobnb precisely because they want to discover smaller, independent and environmentally conscious places.

“There aren’t many accommodations on the platform, but they are highly selected and eco-friendly.”

— Claudia, Trustpilot review

Critical reviews are important too

A credible review cannot tell only positive stories.

Over the years, some travelers have reported difficulties related, for example, to the response times of certain accommodations, room availability, the management of vouchers or communication.

This feedback is important because it helps us identify the areas we need to continue working on.

Ecobnb is a sustainable tourism platform that connects travelers with independent accommodations. Availability, prices and booking methods may therefore depend on the individual accommodation, but our goal is to make the process increasingly clear, simple and reliable.

When we receive a report, we try to listen to the traveler and, whenever possible, help resolve the issue.

For us, transparency is an integral part of more sustainable tourism.

Our users’ reviews help us improve

Every review represents a real experience and an opportunity to learn.

We are particularly happy when travelers tell us that thanks to Ecobnb, they discovered a special place they would not otherwise have found.

But we consider the feedback that shows us where we can improve equally important.

Our goal is to continue building, together with travelers and the accommodations in our network, a travel community based on four values: sustainability, authenticity, transparency and human connections.

Would you like to discover what travelers have to say?

You can read reviews published on independent platforms and share your own experience after a stay found through Ecobnb.

If you have already traveled with us, your opinion can help other travelers choose a more sustainable holiday and help us improve our service.
