In Tolmezzo<\/strong> (Udine, north Italy), a few kilometers from the Forni di Sopra <\/a>Alpine Pearl, a free workshop<\/strong> dedicated to sustainable hospitality<\/strong> and the new opportunities offered by electric mobility<\/strong> will take place on Tuesday April, 16th<\/strong>. The training will be focused on charging infrastructure for Electric Vehicles. The workshop will also\u00a0offer ideas on how to promote your accommodation in a green\u00a0way, how to innovate your place and how attract more and more tourists interested in sustainable tourism.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Organized by Ecobnb<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0the community of sustainable tourism, together with Alpine Pearls<\/strong><\/a>, a consortium of municipalities that promote soft mobility between the Alps<\/strong>, in the context of the European project E-MOTICON<\/a><\/strong>, \u00a0the event is free and open to all.\u00a0The training is mainly aimed at\u00a0accommodation facilities<\/strong>\u00a0(hotels, BnBs, etc.) that want to innovate, improving their competitiveness, promoting sustainable mobility and offering electric car charging services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition to offering a complete guide on the topic of sustainable tourist hospitality<\/strong>, the training meeting is aimed at deepening the issue of electric mobility<\/strong> and its growing importance in the tourism sector. What aspects need to be considered when implementing charging facilities for electric cars<\/strong>? What technical advice to follow (from load management, to costs, from building permits, to billing for top-ups)? What are the funding opportunities<\/strong>? These are just some of the questions that will find a targeted answer during the\u00a0training in Udine.<\/p>\n

The event is proposed as a detailed guide to the installation of refills for electric cars,<\/strong> enriched with practical advice, recommendations and useful information. Thanks to the comparison between the participants it will be possible to deepen the advantages of the implementation of charging stations<\/strong> in accommodation facilities, and to analyze some good practices in the field of eco-sustainable hospitality.<\/p>\n

Simone Riccardi<\/strong> is the founder of ViaggiVerdi – Ecobnb. eMOTICON: Electric Mobility in the Alps<\/h2>\n

The training activity is organized in\u00a0the context of E-MOTICON (e-Mobility Transnational strategy for an Interoperable Community and Networking in the Alpine Space), project co-financed by the European Union (via Interreg Alpine Space).<\/p>\n

The European project involves 15 partners<\/strong> from the “Alpine Region”: Italy, Austria, France, Germany and Slovenia. The project, which lasts 30 months, also involves 40 observers<\/strong>, plus different stakeholders.<\/p>\n

The main objective of the eMOTICON project is to sensibilize on the theme of sustainable mobility<\/strong> and on the growing importance of electric mobility<\/strong> within the field of tourism, providing a transnational strategy for the use of electric vehicles and charging points. The project involves the implementation of charging points for electric\u00a0vehicles with public access helping to increase options for low-carbon mobility between the Alps.<\/p>\n
