The following terms and conditions<\/strong> are for the purchase of your nights on the Ecobnb platform using the “Ecobnb Gift Card<\/strong><\/a>“.<\/p>\n

Ecobnb Gift Card: a digital gift for green stays<\/h2>\n

The Ecobnb Gift Card<\/strong> is a prepaid payment card<\/strong> available in different denominations (\u20ac 10, \u20ac 50, \u20ac 100, etc.) that can be used on the Ecobnb platform<\/a>. The gift cards are issued digitally and are valid for 12 months<\/strong> from their activation.<\/p>\n

Traveler: how can I use my gift card?<\/h2>\n

Using your digital gift card to book eco-friendly stays<\/strong> on Ecobnb is easy: follow the instructions on this page<\/a><\/p>\n

Accommodation Facility: how do you receive payment for a stay with a gift card?<\/h2>\n

When you receive a booking<\/strong> confirmation with a gift card, the confirmation message received via email from Ecobnb is distinguished by a green box (see image below). The message shows the following message:<\/p>\n

For this reservation it has been used an Ecobnb Gift Card.<\/em><\/p>\n

The traveler will have to pay X \u20ac, plus city tax if due.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ecobnb will pay the amount of Y \u20ac, from which any 10% commission will be subtracted, if you do not have a PRO or PLUS membership.<\/p>\n

You will have to issue an invoice\/receipt addressed to the traveler only for the total of X+Y \u20ac and Ecobnb will automatically make the payment via Stripe.<\/p>\n

No action is required.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Who pays the reservation with a gift card?<\/h2>\n

As explained in the message you receive via email from Ecobnb:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Ecobnb<\/strong> will pay the amount purchased by the traveler with a gift card, as indicated in the reservation message;<\/li>\n
  • the Traveler<\/strong> will pay you the remaining sum (indicated in the reservation message) and any tourist tax.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Who do you need to issue the invoice\/receipt to?<\/h2>\n

    In the case of booking with a gift card, you must issue an invoice or receipt to the traveler<\/strong>, as in the case of a normal booking through Ecobnb.<\/p>\n

    How do you receive payment from the Traveler?<\/h2>\n

    You can decide to receive the amount due to the traveler in the manner you prefer.<\/p>\n

    How do I receive the payment from Ecobnb?<\/h2>\n

    The payment of the gift card fee due by Ecobnb takes place automatically<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    On the day of check-out at midnight, you will receive a message from Ecobnb<\/strong> confirming that the payment of the gift card has been taken over by Ecobnb.<\/p>\n

    In the following days, the refund of the gift card is accepted by Ecobnb<\/strong>, and therefore you receive a new email message<\/strong> confirming the payment of the gift card. A few days later you will receive the amount in your bank account, via STRIPE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    When do I receive payment from Ecobnb?<\/h2>\n

    Within 7 days of the automatic payment request<\/strong>, you will receive the payment confirmation, and the Ecobnb invoice relating to the 10% commission if due.<\/p>\n

    The payment of Ecobnb will take place through the Stripe secure online payment system<\/strong> directly to the indicated current account of the accommodation.<\/p>\n

    You will, therefore, have a payment from Stripe<\/strong> on your account, according to the bank transition times.<\/p>\n
