Our Mission and Our Story<\/h2>\n

Ecobnb is an adventure undertaken to change the way we travel, to connect and highlight the opportunities of responsible tourism \u2014 respectful of the environment, the economy, and local communities.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt all began when, during a university conference in Potenza, I was searching online for a sustainable place to stay, but I couldn\u2019t find any. From that impossible search, the idea was born: to make sustainable tourism accessible to everyone. Our Commitment to Sustainability<\/h2>\n

We promote responsible, low-impact tourism<\/strong>, stays in eco-sustainable accommodations, organic food, environmentally-friendly itineraries, non-polluting transportation, and the rediscovery of authentic and nearby places.<\/p>\n

By traveling with Ecobnb, you save water, reduce waste and CO2 emissions \u2014 the equivalent of saving trees<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n

Our website is also sustainable: 0% CO2 emissions and 100% Clean Energy<\/strong>. Ecobnb\u2019s servers are powered entirely by locally produced renewable energy (Hetzner Online). A zero-kilometer choice, just like our journeys.<\/p>\n

Social entrepreneur, co-founder of Ecobnb, the meeting place between responsible travelers and accommodations investing in a better future. He holds a PhD with a thesis on online cities, was a Fulbright BEST fellow at UCLA, California, where he studied business management and entrepreneurship. Founder of a solidarity purchasing group (GAStronauti di Parma) and president of the cultural association \u201cLe Citt\u00e0 Invisibili\u201d of Parma, he has collaborated with various social and volunteer associations.<\/p>\n

\"Silvia<\/a>Architect with a passion for travel. She holds a PhD and has several years of experience in urban planning and teaching. She co-founded Ecobnb, an adventure undertaken to change the way we travel, making it more respectful of the environment, places, and people. Thanks to the Spinner2013 research program, she moved to California for a year, where she studied User Experience Design at UCLA. She coordinated the European project EcoDots, dedicated to the development of sustainable tourism in Europe.<\/p>\n

\"Chiara,Passionate about sustainability, slow travel, and communication, she writes for Ecobnb telling stories about authentic places where nature is the true protagonist. After graduating in Cognitive Sciences in the mountains of Trentino, she dedicated herself to communication and responsible tourism. For more than ten years she has been curating the content of Ecobnb\u2019s blog, with an attentive eye on the environment and the emotions that places can evoke. Today she also manages customer service, supporting hosts and travelers of the community. She lives on a small island in Sardinia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"For her, traveling is like breathing: a natural necessity. But the more she travels, the more she realizes how fragile this planet is. So she decided to reverse course and devote herself entirely to protecting our Earth, \u201cborrowed from our children\u201d. When she is not traveling, she sets roots in a forest 15 km from Parma, in an eco-house where she lives with her family and works on her projects: journalism (she has been a member of the register since 1991), elladigital.it<\/a> (online and offline press office), social media manager, Ecobnb and other green ideas.<\/p>\n
