In Ceresole Reale (Turin), in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the Massimo Mila refuge can be reached by public transport (by train to Pont and bus to Ceresole Reale). Housed in a historic building of the municipal electrical business of Turin, the lodge offers a large bar-restaurant, a comfortable fireplace room and a library with hiking guides, snowshoes for excursions and free Wi-Fi. Guests have 5 double bedrooms and family rooms and a large "bedroom" for groups. A total of 25 beds are available.
The outdoor area is the real beauty of the Massimo Mila hiking refuge. Here you will find tables and a large gazebo where you can enjoy our cuisine even more pleasant. It is immediately next to the lake and the jetty, a convenient access to water sports in the summer months. In the winter months it is next to the cross-country ski run and on the snowshoe trail. The hiking shelter Massimo Mila is the starting point for excursions and ascents in the Gran Paradiso Park and in the surrounding valleys is also a pleasant base for those who love outdoor sports or for those looking for a relaxing atmosphere in contact with the nature.
The shelter uses biological detergents for cleaning, makes separate waste collection and composting and invites guests to contribute, providing differentiated bins for plastic, paper and glass. Solar panels contribute to the thermal and thermal heating of the building. Children up to 10 years stay free at the shelter. Pets, small or large, are allowed if well behaved.
The Nabucco Double Room is a room for lovers, where the red color predominates, the lights are soft, the walls are made of wood and the double bed has a warm goose down.
The Otello Room, ideal for 4 people, has a double bed, a bunk bed and a wonderful view of the mountains.
The Triumphal Room is ideal for large families or a group of friends, has a spacious balcony with mountain views, two single beds and two bunk beds.
The Aida room, with lake view, is a family room that can accommodate up to 4 people. Composed of a double bed and a bunk bed.
The Don Carlo Room is a family room that can accommodate three people, a mix between ancient and modern, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake.

Ceresole Reale is a real climbing paradise, in particular the Trad-style paradise. We are certainly in one of the most famous sites for granite climbing in Europe: plaque ways, equipped with fixed protections, even on different lengths.

Ceresole Reale is the gateway to the Piedmontese side of the Gran Paradiso National Park. The Park Visitor Center, housed in the Grand Hotel in Ceresole, houses the Homo et Ibex exhibition, dedicated to the relationship between man and ibex in history and art.
