A country house from the early twentieth century, Villa Galgani is the first eco-sustainable accommodation facility in the entire Lucca area.
In the very first countryside, the perfect location for those who love nature, simplicity and peace.
Villa Galgani has three rooms, each different, all non-smoking, air conditioning and/or fan, Wi-Fi service in all rooms, attention to detail with handcrafted and minimal furnishings. In Tutti we have enhanced the flavor of the past, we have preserved the wooden ceiling beams, the stone walls and an essential furnishing line. We understand the various needs, those of a family who want to be together, but not necessarily in the same room, therefore we offer connecting rooms while having privacy and freedom at the same time.
Each with internal bathroom, soaps and eco shower gel. You will sleep on healthy, cotton and wool mattresses made in Italy and you will relax on pillows made of spelled husk, lavender and pine.
The towels and linen are "Made in Italy" in pure linen and pure calle cotton.
The rooms have large white windows, which overlook the internal garden or the greenery outside.
To preserve and enhance the climate of tranquility and relaxation, by choice, the rooms are not equipped with a television.
A small library is available in various languages for your trip.
Roses, irises, calla lilies bloom in the garden, aromatic plants grow, in summer you can upon request dine outdoors, enjoy aperitifs and an excellent breakfast in the morning among the olive trees.
The Villa can be booked with a minimum of 8 people.
There are wonderful tables and chairs from the Amalfi Coast available, so you have the opportunity to consume your meals, order cold meals or pizza, to eat in the evening in the garden
We also host your pet of any size for free.
We provide stainless steel bowls and welcome bowl to our furry customer.
Outdoor parking a few steps from the structure.
We offer you the possibility of booking bike itineraries and horseback itineraries, there is a riding stable nearby.
Upon request, taxi service from/to the airports of Pisa and Florence and from/to the stations of Pisa and Lucca.
The restoration of the ancient stone building was carried out with particular attention to sustainability.
In particular, these environmental attentions have been implemented:
- Production of domestic hot water thanks to a solar panel system
- Walls plastered with natural hydraulic lime from MGN and lime paint
- Insulation of Internom double-glazed windows with acoustic and thermal insulation
- Lighting with only low energy consumption LED bulbs
- Separate waste collection, of which the wet waste is used as compost
- NO GAS, we have not supplied the foreign gas market.
- No plastic: Plastic Free Drinks, water and more will only be served in glass
- The natural shampoos/body washes, not tested on animals, will be served only in recyclable glass bottles:
no single-use plastic packaging
- Room cleaning with natural detergents
- Dolomiti Energia Our supplier of electricity from renewable sources.
- Metal-free bed furniture, spelled husk, lavender and pine cushions handcrafted in Trentino. The mattresses are natural and healthy, made of cotton and wool made in Italy. Indications regarding energy and water saving are visible in all rooms, as well as one set of towels per person for the entire stay
- Promotion of Slow Tourism, nature trails and support of the local economy; The traveler will therefore have the premises as his destination, not just the localities
