Pania Forata hostel
Immersed in the nature of the Apuan Alps and welcomed in the former school of the village by Silvia and Alex passionate guides of woods and mountains. It starts for walks, bathing in the sea or in the streams, for cultural and gastronomic visits. This is Alta Versilia!
The village of Pruno can be reached by public transport from the Pietrasanta railway station.
By car it can be easily reached in about half an hour from the Versilia exit of the A11 following the signs for Seravezza and then Pruno.
The hostel can be reached by car at the rear for loading and unloading only (follow the road signs for the youth hostel). The car can be parked in the large and free Pruno car park, from where the hostel can be reached on foot in a couple of minutes.
From the structure you can set off for beautiful walks towards the Acquapendente waterfall, the mill, the Pania della Croce, Mount Forato, the pastures, the villages of Alta Versilia.
By car you can reach the Versilia beach in half an hour by car.
In the nearby town of Levigliani you can visit the Antro del Corchia, one of the best known caves in Europe.
Pruno is a small town with a single bar, grocery store and restaurant.
