In the pleasant landscape of the Tosco-Romagna hill, it is a set of rural stone houses restored on the foundations of an ancient castle of Val Bidente.
The apartments of this pleasant Borgo are furnished with furniture from the first Novecento romagnolo which give a warm and familiar atmosphere and they have a living area with independent kitchen and a sleeping area.

The ancient basin castle is on the Bidentino trail that for centuries devout pilgrims, merchants, servants and soldiers walked to reach the great capitals of Christianity: Rome and Jerusalem. A path that, under the sign of the sword to know castles and rocks, and under the sign of the cross to know abbeys and pievi, still find ourselves today full of that intense charm that makes us revive as protagonists those ancient events.
Not far from Borgo Basino you can immerse yourself in the charm of the Casentino Forest and enjoy the typical products of the area that the farm produces.
Plums, apricots, almonds, nuts, cherries, apples and quinces: the pleasure of the variety adds to the guest the opportunity to eat the fruits harvested directly from the tree and also to go home with the gourmand jams of the Pantry.
If the orchard takes "for the throat" the fruit enthusiasts, the Ancient Pomario of the forgotten fruits adds to the palate's satisfaction that of traditional knowledge, taking on a teaching and recreational function that brings the citizen closer to the agricultural world and makes him aware of the Biodiversity, that is, the differences between living organisms.
Close to the more classic vegetables such as tomatoes, onions and celery, grow in the garden set up on several small plots, many herbs to be rediscovered in the memory of ancient peasant cuisine. Malva, borragine, dandelion, melissa, silence and many others to find odors and flavors of a gastronomy driven by so much creativity and feeling.
