The Hotel Restaurant La Barme, in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, 2 km from Cogne, is the first hotel in Valle d'Aosta to win the Ecolabel mark.
Born from the picturesque renovation of a group of ancient mountain homes, respectful of the rustic Aosta Valley style, it is an ideal base for every type of excursion in summer and for cross-country skiing and ice climbing in winter.
This family-run hotel is an ancient chalet transformed into a charming little hotel with a stone and wood patinated façade. A spacious sunny terrace and a small garden offer a magnificent view of the still wild mountain in any direction. The restaurant offers a refined cuisine, rich in typical Valle d'Aosta dishes and a beautiful list of regional and Italian wines.
The rooms are warm and welcoming, furnished in alpine style, equipped with digital television, DVD and telephone. In the lounge you will have free internet access, both with an internet point and with the Wi-Fi network.
Little guests are welcome. You will find the high chair and table games, stroller and baby-backpack for excursions, equipped playground, mountain bike with child seat, TV with DVD in the room (with free loan of cartoons) and the common room with DVD and games. Furthermore our Chef will be pleased to prepare baby food for the little ones!
Moreover, in the search for true relaxation, the hotel offers a small wellness center with Jacuzzi, sauna and a relaxing massage service, without forgetting the covered garage and the ski and mountain-bike rental.
To respect the environment, heating and hot water are entirely produced with an ecological wood-fired boiler.

Camere accoglienti ed estremamente pulite. A pochi minuti dall'hotel partono bellissimi percorsi di trekking e volendo si può comodamente raggiungere anche Cogne lasciando l'auto nel parcheggio antistante o nel loro parcheggio coperto (entrambi a pagamento). Il posto è molto tranquillo però non isolato. La sera è possibile mangiare cena presso il loro ristorante, assolutamente consigliato! Complimenti anche agli host, molto gentili e disponibili!

Hotel molto carino, posizione incantevole, ideale per esplorare il parco del Gran Paradiso. Camera piccolina ma pulita e accogliente. Ottima la colazione. Qualche perplessitá sul mini centro benessere ( vasca idromassaggio senza scalini d'accesso, priva di tappo interno e sauna senza istruzioni d'accensione). Il resto ....ottimo e la zona é davvero incantevole.
