Prodolina 864 - 21405 Milna - Općina Milna - Croatia
Experience true eco living, get hands-on know-how in Permaculture

This is an invitation to immerse yourself in Permaculture from head to toe! Spending time at Gea Viva, our island eco retreat camp, is a chance to experience true eco living, get hands-on know-how in Permaculture and make a meaningful contribution to what is happening here at Gea Viva.
You will experience life in balance with natural ecosystems and how to make the world a greener place.

MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
According to the season, you will be able learn about dry-stone walling, tree and site maintenance, gardening, cooking vegetarian meals when we host bigger groups, harvesting herbs, eco building and preparing products for sale (soaps, massage oils, balms, seasoned and bath salts, tinctures).

If you are happy to work four hours of your time per day (Mondays to Saturday mornings, Sundays are off), you are welcome to join us for a period between one to four weeks. Accommodation is in tents, and if you do not have your own, we can provide one for you including matts. The financial contribution for "Permaculture in Practice" is 7 Euros a day in your own tent and 8 Euros a day in a hire tent.

YOU WILL GET

o Accommodation in your own or a hire tent
o Three vegetarian meals a day, prepared jointly.
o Hands-on permaculture experience
o Yoga and meditation sessions
o A volunteering certificate
o Your personal flag on our kitchen wall

FACILITATOR
Sabine Engelhardt is an eco architect, joiner and geomancer, who is the innitiator of the Gea Viva project. She has designed the site according to permaculture principles and has built most structures on site, with friends and volunteers. Having lived close to nature for the last six years, Sabine has also constructed her own tiny eco strawbale house, which you can see on site. Sabine has been cultivating the connection with the unseen layers of the Earth for many years, known as sacred permaculture.
