The caravan:
Clean and comfy with a big bed that can be converted to 2 singles. Cooking facilities, a small bathroom with toilet and sink (outside shower) and storage space.
The space:
Magic Wood is totally off-grid with electric from the sun and water from the rain. We provide drinking water from the fountain. We live simply and, in the summer, spend most of our time outdoors. Everything is recycled and reused or created from the trees around us. Guests have their own private shower, compost toilet and sitting area. We're always around if you need us, but you have total privacy.
The area:
We are situated on a quiet road 3km from Ginestar village. You'll find several small shops, bars/ restaurants and a lovely swimming pool (open during the summer holidays) there. The river Ebre is just outside the village.
The nearest town, Mora d'ebre/Mora la Nova, is 10km away with supermarkets etc and a train station.
The whole area is quite beautiful, with views of the surrounding mountains and the river Ebre. Lots of opportunities for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, birdwatching and kyaking on the river.
Miravet, with its Knights Templar Castle and Battle of the Ebre route, is 1km from Ginestar, accessible by the unique vehicle ferry.
Transport:
Access by road from the C12.
Train service from Barcelona to either Mora la Nova or Tortosa. A bus to Ginestar runs between the two on weekdays.
