Il-Marhab in Xewkija is a typical farmhouse from the early 17th century. It is located in walking distance to the picturesque pebble bay Mgarr-Ix-Xini.
- TRULLO GOZITANO:
ECO Certifiied Magical trullo with private swimming pool (16 x 9.5m).
The fully detached Eco Certified Trullo built in beautiful honey-coloured limestone is unique. This bee-hived shaped Trullo is located in the village of Xewkija, the oldest in Gozo. Set in its own south facing garden with mature olive, cypress and citrus trees, the lagoon overflowing swimming pool 16 x 9.5m) is sure to please.Inside, the rooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished in restful shades of summer to give a stylish, yet practical interior.
The accommodation consists of 3 Bedrooms, one with en suite plus main bathroom. Two bedrooms have an LG air condition/heating system on a pay per use basis. It can sleep 8 persons comfortably. There is a lovely sofa in the round open plan lounge/diner, oak dining table with 6 chairs, a fully equipped kitchen with black granite worktops - this leads onto the splendid patio/sun deck area with pool shower and built-in-barbecue.
- TRULLO ALBEROBELLO:
Alberobello is a fully detached bungalow with private swimming pool and garden. A true haven, beehive shaped trullo, offering guests an attractive outdoor swimming pool and walled garden. This is complemented with a spacious terrace and sun deck area with barbecue under the shade of a natural bamboo trellis ensuring guests enjoy this unique, fully detached trullo featuring new furniture and fittings. It is reached from the village of Xewkija by a small track and a private driveway.
There are two spacious double bedrooms, one with en suite. Both bedrooms have air condition/heating system (Mitsui and LG) on pay per use basis; moreover, there is an extra single bed in each bedroom, plus the main bathroom. It can accommodate up to six (6) persons comfortably. The fabulous open plan sitting/dining space gives the trullo an unusually intimate feel, that only deepens when it is looked at from inside as it shape is constantly changing.
- VILLA XINI
Villa Xini is a delightful first class villa in a traditional Gozitan style in the tranquil village of Xewkija, just a short walk from the pebbly beach of Mgarr ix-Xini and the dramatic cliffs of Ta' Cenc.
Villa Xini is a delightful first class villa in a traditional Gozitan style in the tranquil village of Xewkija, just a short walk from the pebbly beach of Mgarr ix-Xini and the dramatic cliffs of Ta' Cenc. The villa has a spacious open-plan lounge/diner, beautifully furnished with a rattan sofa and chairs and a superb oak kitchen with verde granite worktops.
The huge veranda, which opens off the dining area, has a great view over the private south facing swimming pool (10 x 5.5m) and beyond to the surrounding fields with their almond, carob, pomegranate, cypress, olive and fig trees, fennel and prickly pears. There are two large bedrooms on the ground floor, one has a double bed and ensuite shower room and the other has three single beds. There is also a separate bathroom with bidet.
The traditional stone staircase leads from the living room to an airy landing with a double bed and opens onto the large roof terrace with a great vista of the island. It can sleep 7 persons comfortably.
