Here you can share a piece of our history and breathe the smells and flavors of our land. We are a couple from two very distant lands, Jamaica and Italy. What brought us together? The love for this land "Salento" that we consider southern Jamaica.
My partner left his splendid island to emigrate to England with his family and then to Germany, two countries both very cold and far from the colors and warmth of his land.
After years of metropolitan life and the strong desire to rediscover the colors and warmth and scents of a sacred land like this, we stopped at the "Gate of the East" where mixed cultures intertwine: the ancient land of Otranto has its roots in a distant past, the Neolithic, with the presence of dolmens and menhirs, cave paintings, deer caves in Porto Badisco with the ancient Pelagi populations; subsequently the Messapian civilization and the Greek colonization with the foundation of new cities such as Gallipoli, Ugento Taranto etc.
Our holiday home is a return to the roots; a return made of simplicity, goodness, perfumes, typical products, hospitality and much more.
Located 7 km from the sea on the Leverano – Nardo provincial road, Villa Le Radici is located in the wonderful Salento area in the province of Lecce, a city of Messapian origins unique for its splendid Baroque.
Villa Le Radici offers you the room tailored for you: it is located 100 meters from our private home and adjacent to our home there is a dining room for HOME RESTAURANT with adjoining TV, stereo system and internet connection with wi-fi
- KAHUNA attic: entrance with armchair reading corner, two double bedrooms, bathroom with tub and wooden shower box in the garden, fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor overlooking the garden. the eco cleaning products are provided by the structure with an economic contribution that varies according to the vacation days. For the linen made available by the structure there is an extra 10 euros per person.
- HO-OPONOPONO ground floor apartment: a double bedroom, sitting room with sofa bed, bathroom with shower.
Furthermore, if you want a breakfast prepared by Alexandra there is an extra 5.50 euros per person based on fresh fruit with fresh yoghurt, fresh cakes, omelettes with hens' eggs, turkey, duck and geese raised by us with fresh field herbs . Durum wheat bread or 5 cereals with butter and homemade jams with fruit from our field and anything you want on request such as croissants or pasticciotti. The eco cleaning products are supplied by the structure with an economic contribution which varies according to the vacation days.
