A charming inn immersed in the Maira Valley, overlooking the greenery and silence of the mountains, where you can taste excellent dishes based on local products.
The Lou Pitavin Occitan inn, a small 3-star hotel (the name of a small bird that Marco's family has handed down as a nickname), offers beautiful double rooms with private bathroom. Depending on your needs, the rooms can be transformed to accommodate more people. Some rooms have been created in the barn of the old house and retain the traditional architecture and others with a more modern look with stone pine cladding that releases a relaxing scent that creates a natural well-being for our guest's sleep.
The restaurant offers fantastic Occitan-Piedmontese dishes, prepared by Valeria, who learned them in the family and refined with experience, but above all with the dedication and enthusiasm she dedicates to her creations. Simplicity and genuineness are the main ingredients, mixed with imagination to obtain dishes that are a delight first for the eyes and then for the palate: green and red anchovies to honor the Valmairese tradition which has seen the most curious in anchovies " working invention”, handmade potato gnocchi with mountain herbs that the cook keeps in her precious garden, the exquisite stew, the sweets of the past with modern reinterpretations… A refined wine list with Langa wines and proposals from outside Piedmont.
Our sensitivity towards environmental issues has led us to make targeted choices. In fact, when the Locanda was expanded and renovated in 2012/2013 we chose to take the path of environmental sustainability to be the first "ClimaHotel- KlimaHotel" Certified Hotel.
